This may be my 3rd or 4th attempt at a blog...I love blogging but just never keep up with em!
I am hoping to use this blog to promote my handmade knit and crochet items along with doing random giveaways of the items on here. I also plan on talking about some of the "greener" and more natural ways of life that surround me. I hope to connect with a world of amazing mama's out there!!

A little background about my name is really simple. I am a humongous Tim Burton and Nightmare Before Christmas fan. The main girl character in that movie is Sally and I have always felt she is my alter ego. She is covered in stitches so the words just ended up going hand in hand. When I was able to help our local roller derby team start up it was the perfect opportunity to use the name as my true alter ego. PLUS the stitches fit hand in hand with my hobbies of knitting, crocheting, sewing and cross stitching. It just became me.
I hope you enjoy my blog and continue to follow it, it will be where I post my newest Etsy listings, handmade creations, recipes, and experiences with starting to cloth diaper (after my first one is born at the end of July) and most importantly some giveaways to some amazing products!!
